Vocational education plays a crucial role in shaping the skills and talents of individuals, equipping them with the necessary knowledge to succeed in their chosen fields. Olad Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) supported by CISP's SETS II SETS II project co-funded by the European Union and with the support of Otto per Mille of the Waldensian Church of Italy, provides a practical approach to learning, which prepares students for real-nation challenges. Here we delve into the sincere quotes from students attending new classes at TVET, capturing their experiences and perspectives on this unique educational journey.

The TVET classroom is a hub of diverse voices, bringing together students from various backgrounds, skill sets, and aspirations. As I entered one of these classrooms, I was immediately struck by the energy and enthusiasm radiating from the students. Their passion for learning and dedication to their chosen vocations was evident in every interaction.

One student, Shandheye pursuing a course in Tailoring, shared her excitement about the hands-on learning experience. She stated, “I have been here for two months only. TVET has allowed me to explore my passion for tailoring while gaining practical skills. I feel more confident in my abilities, and I know that I am well-prepared for the challenges that lie ahead."

In the same class, I spoke with Zamzam, who is enrolled in the beauty salon program. She expressed her appreciation for the practical henna skills and Makeup design and the guidance provided by experienced instructors. Zamzam said, "TVET has allowed me to unleash my creativity and develop my skills. The emphasis on practical training has given me the confidence to pursue my dream of becoming an owner of a beauty salon.
