Annia Aroza Martinez is winner of the logo design contest for Promoting Rights Protecting Women project.

In April, CISP called on designers to submit their ideas on what we and our partners in protection can use as a project logo.

We received designs from sixteen individuals and companies.  The designs were evaluated on the  how well they represented the  project’s goal which is to improve  the response to and prevention of gender-based violence by supporting the provision of a holistic package of services such as; medical, psychosocial and legal assistance as well as economic empowerment and development of community-based protection strategies.

The logos suitability for use in the Somali cultural context, its appeal to people from all walks of life and easy to understand.

Annia’s logo was found to fit all requirements. Her presentation was professional; it demonstrated proficiency in design and depicted the various ways the logo can be used.
